Hey, It’s Photo Friday!

I’ve mostly been working from home for the past two years and am only now beginning the return to the office full time. As such, I like to see how my colleagues have fared during these trying times. Imagine my delight as saw this familiar face (recognizable in spite of the mask) when I took a quick trip round the building.

It would seem that a guy like Oscar the Grouch is the perfect pick for a pandemic PSA. I Mean, the SESAME STREET Muppet has been telling people to “Scram! Go away!” for years and that’s nothing more than an extreme form of social distancing so that’s gravitas. Check out his Wear A Mask public service announcement…

This is a shot of Studio A in our Research Triangle Park facility. The chairs and screen indicate the studio is set up for a viewing of some kind. Often, UNC-TV will host previews and special screenings of programs for donors, underwriters, community groups and other interested parties. Of course, right now, there are no screenings. There is very little production. Most of the UNC-TV staff (myself included) are working from home. With that in mind, an empty studio just seemed apropos.
