Flashback: December 1998

Duke Chapel has been the subject of a few programs we’ve broadcast over the years. The three in our programming database (which only goes back so far, meaning there may be others) are CHRISTMAS EVE IN DUKE CHAPEL, CHRISTMAS IN DUKE CHAPEL and HOLY WEEK AT DUKE CHAPEL. The first dates back to 2018, the latter to 2004 – but the one in the middle, the cover feature of the December 1998 Centerpiece programming guide, was first broadcast 24 years ago. Over the decades, it has been a local holiday favorite and we’ve run it dozens of times during the Christmas season since then.

A Bit Of A Stink

A while back, I talked about the delightful family comedy Mr. Stink (with Downton Abbey‘s Hugh Bonneville in the title role). I also said I would mention it if we ran the seasonal favorite again this year. Well, good news! Mr. Stink is scheduled to air on UNC-MX on December 7 at 2am and again on December 10 at 9pm. Check it out if you like your holiday fare fun and funky.
