GRANTCHESTER just keeps on going. The MASTERPIECE MYSTERY series finished up its fifth season recently and a sixth has been commissioned. It’s an interesting premise – an Anglican vicar with a penchant for sleuthing helps the local constabulary. Wait a minute – isn’t that the premise of FATHER BROWN? Oh well, I guess there’s enough crime to go around. (Hmmm. I wonder if Midsomer has a man of the cloth with a predisposition for prying. Could be useful.)
