25 years ago, here’s what the cover of our monthly program guide looked like.
The cover showcased the then latest Ken Burns documentary, LEWIS & CLARK: THE JOURNEY OF THE CORPS OF DISCOVERY. This two-part series premiered on November 4th and 5th of that year. Other shows mentioned are the six-episode PBS miniseries LIBERTY! THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION and the local special FAR FETCHED AND DEAR BOUGHT: FOUR ARCHITECTS WHO CHANGED NORTH CAROLINA. The “Red Skelton Remembered” was not a program title but a reference to three shows airing that month featuring the late American comic who passed away in September of 1997.
