I think I’ve mentioned before how many of the photos in the old archive I inherited from a retired colleague show people watching TV. I guess in the early days of WUNC it was important to note that people were actually watching the young educational channel. Here, we see a group of youngsters gathered in front of a set that I’m not even sure is turned on. Maybe the photograph is so old that it’s from a time when simply having a television was grounds for a school assembly. Anything to get out of class, I guess.
