Where Do I Know That Actor?

The sixteenth season of MIDSOMER MURDERS kicked off Saturday night on UNC-TV with a new killer and a new partner for Barnaby.  Even though it was a holiday episode, “The Haunted Christmas” showed what happens when a Fright Night lives up to its name. Viewers were also treated to a half dozen guest stars worth noting. Let’s get the skinny.

Gwilym Lee played new Detective Sergeant Charlie Nelson. Recently, faithful fans may have caught him as Samuel Castell in Jamestown.

Mark Heap played Morton Shallows manor house owner Simon Fergus-Johnson. Some may recall Heap as Thomas Brown in Lark Rise to Candleford or perhaps Philip on the Britcom Spy. Continue reading
