Hey, It’s Photo Friday!

Another snap from the set of SCI NC…

We’ve got a microscope (a bit dusty but that doesn’t show up on camera), a model of an atom and… uh, something colorful and interesting. Maybe it’s a depiction of some complex molecule, maybe it just looks cool. I’ll ask around and see if I can get the scoop.*

Also slightly pictured: a drone (to the right), Megalodon teeth model (right, lower) and a lighthouse model (lower).

*Followup – I asked Frank Graff about the piece and he said it was a plastic children’s toy picked up at a thrift shop, adding, “Since science is all about imagination and seeing things in unique ways, we thought the toy was perfect for the set. Every year, somebody on the science team creates a new set of shapes and puts it on the shelf on the set.” Very cool indeed.
