Jo Woodcock played Harriet Farmer, the coma victim. Although she’s guested on shows like Poirot, Marple and Death in Paraidise, she had meatier roles in a couple of Masterpiece presentations. Woodcock was Liza-Lu on Tess of the D’Urbervilles and Jodie Tolin on Collision.

Richard Lumsden was Harriet’s father, David. He, too, has a collection of guest roles you may have seen (Are You Being Served? Again!, EastEnders, One Foot in the Grave, Father Brown and Doc Martin, just to name a few) but will be best known for playing lawyer Colin Lotus on the Britcom Is It Legal?
