Hey, It’s Photo Friday!

I saw this on a bulletin board here at PBS North Carolina. It’s a promotional poster for an exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh called “The Power of Women In Country Music.” At first, I wasn’t sure why this was posted. Perhaps it was tied to the Ken Burns’ series COUNTRY MUSIC, I thought. Then I noticed the station was a sponsor. I also noticed that there was a concert series titled “Southern Songbirds” featuring Rissi Palmer, Tift Merrit and more. Turns out we are broadcasting this series in March so everything ties together!
