Hey, It’s Photo Friday!

You may recognize this royal couple from their hit MASTERPIECE series. They’ve been gracing the UNC-TV lobby for a few weeks now. Perhaps they may soon be out and about, meeting the public at station events. For the moment, we’re happy to have their regal countenances watching over the station’s activities from a central vantage point.

Victoria

It seems odd that for the first time in years we won’t have a new season of Downton Abbey to look forward to come 2017. Trust me – the folks at Masterpiece are keenly aware of this and are hoping and praying that something comes along to replace Downton in hearts and minds of PBS viewers. Well, Victoria may be just the hit series that they (and we) are looking for. Starring Jenna Coleman (best known as one of the Doctor’s many companions), Victoria is the dramatic story of the young queen’s rise to power and independence while seeking partnerships in politics and her personal life. Take a look at this fascinating new series.
