What’s happening, what’s on and what’s interesting this week …

Unfortunately, some sad news to start off the week: actor John Hurt has passed away. However, many public television viewers first saw the incredible actor as Caligula in the epic late-70s Masterpiece Theatre presentation of I, Claudius.

The world of Nature has never been more up close and personal with Spy In The Wild, a new five-part series. The program employs more than 30 animatronic spy cameras disguised as animals to secretly record behavior in the wild. Don’t miss it – Wednesday night at 8 on UNC-TV.
