Over the decades, UNC-TV has broadcast some fascinating original documentary programming about the Tar Heel State. One of the programs was A Singing Stream. Originally aired in 1985, the documentary chronicled one family’s story as told primarily by its matriarch. 30 years later, a sequel has been produced: A Singing Stream Reunion. This show premieres Tuesday on our North Carolina Channel but you can get a bit of preview now. Earlier this week, director Tom Davenport and producers Ken Daniel and Iverson Landis Jr. discussed their film with Frank Stasio on WUNC’s The State Of Things.
Head over to the website of WUNC-FM and hear the interview. Then tune in for A Singing Stream Reunion – Tuesday night at 8 on the North Carolina Channel.
