Par Excellence!

Once again, PBS is the recipient of some prestigious award nominations – this time in an all new event!

On October 10, the Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced nominees in the inaugural Critics’ Choice Documentary Awards. Previously, awards recognizing documentary work were presented at the Critics’ Choice Awards but this new venue was created to enhance the documentary awards with more doc-specific categories.

The 2016 PBS’ Critics’ Choice Documentary Awards nominees are:

Winners will be announced during a gala event on November 3 in Brooklyn, New York.
