What’s happening, what’s on and what’s interesting this week …
The show has concluded but Downton Abbey will never end. Fans of the hit Masterpiece series will want to tune in Thursday night on our Explorer Channel as we present three specials celebrating the UK’s most popular recent export: I Miss Downton Abbey! (8pm), More Manners of Downton Abbey (9pm) and BAFTA Celebrates Downton Abbey (10pm).
Even though he’s been diagnosed with dementia, that didn’t prevent Terry Jones from attending a BAFTA celebration in his honor.
If you’re weary of presidential politics, keep in mind there are statewide races in play this election season. Tune in Tuesday night at 7 on UNC-TV for the NC Association of Broadcasters 2016 Gubernatorial Debate. And don’t miss the NC Association of Broadcasters 2016 U.S. Senate Debate – Thursday night on UNC-TV at the same time.
