Congratulations to PBS!

The award season is well underway (does it ever really end?) and once again PBS has received a few prestigious recognitions.

This time it’s the George Foster Peabody Awards, awarded annually for distinguished achievement and meritorious public service by television and radio stations, networks, producing organizations, individuals and the World Wide Web. Here’s a quick look at the productions broadcast by PBS which received Peabody Awards.

Desperate Journey – PBS Newshour

India’s Daughter – Independent Lens

ISIS In Afghanistan – Frontline

Don’t Tell Anyone – POV

Wolf Hall – Masterpiece

Congratulations to all of the winners on their well-deserved awards. Once again, it’s nice to note that UNC-TV is able to help bring such exceptional programming to viewers like you.
