From 1972 to 2002, Louis Rukeyser hosted what investment news program?
It’s “Wall Street Week” (officially titled and often stylized “Wall $treet Week with Louis Rukeyser”) The show was a PBS Friday night staple for years with Rukeyser dispensing investment advice and some very droll puns. Rukeyser created a bit of a stir when he essentially quit on air, inviting viewers to write their PBS stations and request his new program. He went on to host “Louis Rukeyser’s Wall Street” but not on public broadcasting. Without Rukeyser, “Wall Street Week” continued for a few years but was eventually cancelled in 2005. Rukeyser died in 2006.
